Frequently Asked Questions
What types of stone do you work with?

We work with a wide range of natural and engineered materials including marble, granite, quartz, limestone, slate, porcelain, Dekton/sintered stone, and glass splashbacks.

What areas of the home do you fit stone in?

We supply and fit stone in kitchens, bathrooms, staircases, utility rooms, fireplaces, splashbacks, and more — both residential and commercial.
Can I choose my own stone slab?

Yes, you can select the exact slab or material you'd like, and we’re happy to guide you through the options based on your project, style, and budget.
Do you offer templating and installation?

Absolutely. We handle the full process from templating and fabrication to professional installation, ensuring a perfect fit every time.
Do I need to seal my stone surfaces?

Some natural stones (like marble, granite and limestone) do need sealing to protect from stains. Engineered stones like quartz or Dekton do not.
How long does the installation process take?

From templating to final fit, most projects take around 5–10 working days. We'll confirm timelines once we assess the job.
Is quartz or granite better for kitchen worktops?

Both are great choices. Quartz is low maintenance and non-porous, while granite is 100% natural and very durable. The right one depends on your priorities.
Are stone splashbacks better than tiles?

Stone or glass splashbacks offer a seamless, modern look and are easier to clean than tiled options, which have grout lines that can trap dirt.
Can you match existing stone in my home?

We’ll do our best to source a close match. Natural stone can vary, but we have access to a wide range of suppliers and materials.
How should I clean and maintain my stone surfaces?

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner or warm soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, especially on natural stones like marble or limestone.
